About

Unbroken Smile is more than a documentary—it’s a movement born from survival, truth-telling, and the fight for justice.

It all began when Brittany Chrishawn called 911 for help and ended up assaulted, falsely arrested, and nearly silenced. But instead of breaking, she chose to rise. The trauma she endured sparked a movement for those like her: people failed, targeted, or forgotten by the very systems meant to protect them. They tried to break her. But she turned pain into purpose—and Unbroken Smile was born.

What started as a film is now a platform and a hub for impact.

Through Unbroken Smile, we aim to encourage and inspire:

  • Resilience in the face of adversity
  • Truth in a world where false narratives dominate
  • Recovery from injury and trauma
  • Empowerment for survivors to reclaim their voices
  • Justice through exposure, storytelling, and community tools

They broke her teeth, but they couldn’t break her smile.
